M.A. in Lingustics, English and Romance Studies from the Universities of Cologne and Warwick, Diploma in “Stage Management and Technical Theatre” from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Elena Krüskemper was employed by various German theatres between 1990 and 2008 (Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, Theater Bonn). From 2003 to 2008 she was Festival Manager of the Biennale Bonn. Between 2002 and 2006, she was a member of the City of Cologne’s theatre advisory board. Since 2008, she has been working as a freelance consultant for seminars, workshops and festivals, mainly in the fields of international development cooperation and international cultural exchange.

Studied Literary Translation in Düsseldorf as well as English Studies, Dramatics and Romance Studies at the Universities of Bochum and Cambridge. Previous employers include the Berliner Festspiele (International Forum) and the Biennale Bonn festival, where she was head of organisation. From 2008 to 2010, Kristina Wydra worked at Theater Bonn (dramaturgy and press departments). Since 2009, she has been teaching at Bonn University as a visiting lecturer.
